Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Who handles your data

Rento Housing LTDA (Rentô Housing), CNPJ 43.047.118/0001-88, headquartered at Rua José Manoel de Oliveira, nº 1005, casa 03, Sala 02, Cotia/SP, CEP 06727-187, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data processed on this website, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, LGPD).

2. Data we collect

  • Booking: name, email, mobile number, CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID), address, dates, number of guests and payment details. Card details are entered in Asaas's environment and are not stored by Rentô.
  • Guests: the main guest's ID and the full name and ID of the other guests, requested after booking for check-in and the agreement.
  • Agreement: digital signature data (date, time, IP and signature evidence).
  • Rentô Club and Owner area: mobile number and the access code sent on WhatsApp; stay history linked to the number.
  • Welcome coupon: email, when you provide it and agree to receive offers.
  • Browsing: pages visited, device and website events (such as starting checkout), through analytics cookies, only with your consent.

3. How we use it

  • Make and confirm the booking, charge, issue the agreement, charge and return the security deposit and support you before, during and after the stay (performance of contract).
  • Meet legal and tax obligations and register guests as required by the community and the law (legal obligation).
  • Calculate Rentô Club points and tier and apply the member's discount (performance of contract).
  • Send one WhatsApp message with a link to rebook when a booking started on the website is not paid in time, unless you untick this option at checkout (steps prior to a contract, at your request).
  • Prevent fraud and protect the home, guests and Rentô (legitimate interest).
  • Send offers and coupons by email or WhatsApp, when you allow it (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • Measure website use to improve it, when you accept analytics cookies (consent).

4. Who we share it with

Only with the providers needed to deliver the service, who process the data according to our instructions:

  • Stays: booking system and guest records.
  • Asaas: Pix and card payments, security deposits and refunds.
  • Clicksign: digital signature of the rental agreement.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) and our support system: access codes, booking notices and support.
  • Google: audience measurement (Google Analytics and Tag Manager, with consent) and maps.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measuring and optimizing our ads, only with your cookie consent: actions on the website and, when you book, your email, mobile, name, city and postcode in encrypted (hashed) form, plus the amount, home and dates.
  • Vercel: website hosting.
  • Home owner and local team: guests' names, dates and the information needed to welcome you.
  • Authorities: when required by law.

Some of these providers may store data outside Brazil, with the safeguards required by the LGPD. Rentô does not sell personal data.

5. Cookies

We use cookies needed for the website to work (such as the Rentô Club and Owner area sessions) and, if you accept, analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time in "Cookie preferences", in the website footer.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as needed for the purposes above: booking and agreement data for the legal and tax periods; marketing data until you withdraw consent; analytics data for the period set in the tool.

7. Your rights

You can ask for confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent, under article 18 of the LGPD. You can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

8. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to data is limited to the team members who need it, and payments are processed in Asaas's secure environment.
